Objectives - After attending this program you should be able to:

1. Describe lymphatic anatomy of the lower extremity and the relationship to lymphatic pathology
2. Identify appropriate candidates for surgical procedures for prevention of lower extremity lymphedema – its treatment and prevention & discuss considerations for developing a multi-disciplinary lymphatic program

The Boston Lymphatic Symposium meets the requirements for continuing education of the Lymphology Association of North American (LANA) for re-certification of lymphedema therapists.
